Venice (Venezia in Italian) is certainly one of my favorite places in Italy. It is romantic, vibrant and has a unique character. Venice is composed of more than 100 islands but the best way to explore it is by walking. People say that getting lost in Venice is a must and they are absolutely right. This is the best way to explore and view the narrow canals, the colors, the changing light, the people and fully appreciate the culture and way of life.
Venice is a haven for photographers because there are so many interesting subjects – landscapes, seascapes, people, street, still life, etc.
The popular attractions in Venice include the St. Mark’s Square, the Rialto Bridge, the Grand Canal, St. Mark’s Basilica and some of the surrounding islands such as Giudecca, where Murano glass is made and the colorful fisherman’s island called Burano.
Alec,
Great inspiring pictures! Congratulations…
Have been to some of those places in Europe, but I have not appreciated the beauty of the sceneries as much as I have thru your lenses.
Proud to be a Titan!
