Also located in Tuscany, Pisa is on the right bank of the mouth of the River Arno on the Tyrrhenian Sea.  Pisa is the birthplace of Galileo Galilei.  The most famous attraction is the Tower of Pisa, a freestanding bell  tower known worldwide for its unintended tilt to one side.  The tower’s tilt began during construction caused by inadequate foundation on the ground.   The Piazza del Duomo also houses the Cathedral, the Baptistry and the monumental Cemetery.
